Job Description : The position will be responsible for managing the newly formed Supplier Management group in China. The manager will supervise a department of four (4) Quality Engineers hired to improve corporation's surveillance of our key suppliers by implementing regular and ongoing site audits, improve the performance of our key suppliers by acquiring, reviewing and taking action on supplier performance data, and, to service Dell's contract requirements for managing their contract manufacturer. Specifically, the manager will be responsible for creating, and implementing new and existing programs to address the following areas. • Ensure that quality excursions originating from our suppliers never reach our customers. • Ensure that our suppliers effectively implement and maintain the corporation's quality, reliability and performance requirements. • Assess the supplier's ability to meet company requirements by conducting regular and on demand supplier surveillance audits. • Work supplier corrective actions on behalf of corporation. • Review both quality and reliability performance data for adequacy and trigger actions as appropriate. • Ensure that our suppliers have effective on-going reliability testing programs. • Provide Supplier Management resources to support our contractual obligations for Dell's suppliers Job Requirements : 1. Bachelor Degree in a scientific field. 2. 10 years of experience in Quality Management in a semiconductor wafer manufacturing and assembly manufacturing and test environment. 3. Quality Management system and auditing experience. 4. Communicate effectively with all parties associated with Quality Systems. 5. Will need to travel internationally. email:helen.he@tophunter.com
