2600A系列数字源表的内置扫描生成能力支持更快的吞吐量和精密定时控制

设置正常运行时间是在进行扫描之前配置SMU源和测量[1]参数所需的时间。因此,设置间隔只需要一次。从那以后,根据用户需要,扫描可以运行多次。在这个测试中,2636型数字源表[2]被配置为在很短的积分时间内(NPLC = 0.001)进行测量,但默认源和测量延迟则根据需要维持在设置的低电流范围内。对2636型数字源表而言,建立时间大约是78ms。测试执行时间是91.9ms。图2给出测试结果曲线图。

 

The results of this test are plotted in Figure 2. The set-uptime is the time required to configure the source and measureparameters of the SMU prior to executing the sweep. Therefore,the set-up interval is required only once. Thereafter, the sweepcan be run as many times as the user desires. In this test, theModel 2636 was configured to take measurements at veryshort integration times (NPLC = 0.001), but default source and measure delays were maintained for necessary settling onlow current ranges. For the Model 2636, the set-up time wasapproximately 78ms. The test execution time was 91.9ms.

The same code was also run on a Model 2636A. That data isalso plotted in Figure 2. Note the excellent correlation betweenthe data produced by the two instruments. The Model 2636Aset-up times and test execution times are comparable to those ofthe Model 2636.

 

接着,对2636A型数字源表[3]进行配置,使之利用新的扫描功能和触发模型进行Gummel测试。为了执行Gummel测试,需要对2636 A型数字源表进行编程。

 

Next, the Model 2636A is configured to perform a Gummeltest using the new sweeping functions and trigger model. Seethe appendix for the test script to program the Model 2636A toexecute a Gummel test using the trigger model.

The results from this test are also plotted in Figure 2. Noteagain how well the data correlates with the data taken with theModel 2636.

 

使用触发模型时,2636A型数字源表的建立时间大约是88ms,比不使用这个触发模型[4]时要稍微长一些(大约长9ms)。不过,需要注意:这个建立的时间间隔是不重现的。同时,测试执行时间的缩短可以补偿建立时间的增加。在与2636型数字源表使用同样的默认源和测量延迟情况下,使用触发模型的测试执行时间是55.8ms,测试时间较少将近40%。这个例子清楚地表明:2600A型系列数字源表触发模型的速度优势,即使在小电流测试时也优势明显。

 

The set-up time for the Model 2636A when using the triggermodel was approximately 88ms, slightly longer (by about 9ms)when using the trigger model than without using the triggermodel. Again, however, note that this set-up interval is non-recurring. Also, the increase in set-up time is offset by theimprovement in test execution time. The test execution timewhen using the trigger model was 55.8ms, a test time reductionof nearly 40%, using the same default source and measuredelays as the Model 2636. This example clearly shows the speedadvantage of the Series 2600A trigger model, even when makinglow current measurements.
