802.11ac and 802.11ax are different wireless (WiFi) technology standards that are present in WiFi routers or gateways.WiFi and Internet capabilities are constantly evolving. Up until 2019, the most common wireless standard called for 802.11ac, also referred to as WiFi 5. However, in late 2019, 802.11ax (also known as WiFi 6) was launched, providing enhanced capabilities over its predecessor. These two WiFi standards are important to understand because they determine what devices you will need for your home network, which features they support, and the overall performance of your WiFi.

We have introduced DR6018V4 in previous article and today let’s talk about the DR8072 V01.

DR8072 V01

This is a router board integrated with Qualcomm Atheros IPQ8072A AR Quad Core CPU,Support 11ax TX Beamforming,Support 11ac/ax MU-MIMO DL and UL,Support OFDMA DL and UL,and the System Memory is DDR 1GB DDR3L(Support DDR3L can be up to 2GB as optional).8 MB NOR Flash, 256MB NAND Flash(NAND Flash can be up to 1GB as optional),Supports Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS),On-board 5GHz radio, up to 2475 Mbps physical data rate,On-board 2.4GHz radio, up to 1147Mbps physical data rate,M.2 connector can support QCN9074 production

Regard to the Absolute Maximum Rating,we’ll introduce from 4 perspectives parameters:Operating Temperature Range,Storage Temperature Range,Operating Humidity Range and Storage Humidity Range.

For the Operating Temperature Range,it is -20 to +70ºC.

For the Storage Temperature Range,it is -40 to +90ºC.

For the Operating Humidity Range,it is 5 to +95 (non-condensing)%.

For the Storage Humidity Range,It is 0 to +90 (non-condensing)%.
