1. Software Engineer (SZDC) Location: Shenzhen Job Responsibilities: Provide customer support for issues related to Software\Protocol Stack\API Interact with customers directly for problem identification\fixing and feature implementation. Communicate with the design engineering teams in India and USA while resolve customer issues and working with Hardware, Test and Firmware engineers to develop features\code based on customers’ requirements. Work closely with Program Management on daily resources (priority) and escalation management for the strategic accounts Assimilate next-generation product requirements for marketing based on feedback from strategic accounts Develop test code for strategic Tier 1 customers Handle software design and development, documentation, and testing of software in ‘Systems On Chip’ (SOC) environment. E.g. Initialization, bootstrapping using non-volatile memory, application code downloading and diagnostic tests. Providing Kernel services like task scheduling, timer services, memory /buffer management, configuration management, etc. Job Requirements: · BS\MS degree or higher in Electronics\Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent. · Must have strong proficiency in ‘C’, Assembly languages programming for RISC processors. · Must have good understanding of operating system concepts, embedded systems, real time systems etc. · Must have a good knowledge of xDSL communication protocols such as PPPoE, PPPoA, DHCP, IGMP etc. as well as Ethernet and ATM technologies. · Hands on software development experience of the above topics will be a big advantage. · Understanding of China or oversea DSL\Broadband market is a plus. · Good problem analyzing and solving skill; Quick-to-learn; Good communication skill; Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of resolving problem; Hardworking and willing to work overtime; Good team player. · Excellent written/verbal communications skills in Chinese and English Contact person: Sue Liu Contact email: gezi1216@yahoo.com MSN: sueliu1216@hotmail.com
